Background
Becker & Rosen, Certified Public Accountants, LLC initially began as Jonathan E. Becker, Certified Public Accountant by Jonathan Becker in 1988 at its present location, 8008 Carondelet Avenue, in Clayton, Missouri.
On October 1, 2004, Marc Rosen became a member of the firm, which is now known as Becker & Rosen, Certified Public Accountants, LLC. Our firm is a member of the Clayton Chamber of Commerce, American Institute of Public Accountants, and the Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants.
We have a very well educated and experienced staff of eight CPA's, two financial and tax accountants, a payroll accountant and three administrative support personnel, and combined have over 118 years of CPA experience.
For years, Becker & Rosen CPAS LLC has been providing quality, personalized financial guidance to local individuals and businesses. Becker & Rosen CPAS LLC's expertise ranges from basic tax management and accounting services to more in-depth services such as audits, financial statements, and financial planning.

Our Team
Jonathan E. Becker, CPA (Partner/Member)
Jon graduated from Indiana University in 1982 with a Bachelor's of Science in Accounting. Jon specializes in individual, business and fiduciary tax and financial preparation and planning. He also functions as a reviewer and performs many other accounting services for clients and managerial duties for our firm. He is an active board member of Crown Center for Senior Living and past board member of the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America. Jon is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants (MSCPA).

Marc W. Rosen, CPA (Partner/Member)
Marc graduated from Southeast Missouri State University in 1981 with a Bachelor's of Science in Accounting. Along with individual, not-for-profit and business tax planning and preparation, Marc performs many of the financial audits for the firm and other agreed-upon procedure engagements. He also functions as a reviewer and performs many other accounting services for clients and managerial duties for our firm. Marc is also a member of the AICPA and the MSCPA.

Marci graduated from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville in 1998 with a Bachelor's of Science in Accountancy. Marci manages and reviews our firm's audit, review, and agreed-upon procedure engagements and provides individual, not-for-profit and business tax planning and preparation services. She is a member of the AICPA, MSCPA, and the American Society of Women Accountants (ASWA). Marci has been with the firm since May 2006 and has over thirteen years public accounting experience.

Janet graduated from Indiana University in 1980 with a Bachelor's of Science in Accounting. Janet provides services in the areas of individual and business tax preparation and planning and financial statement preparation. She is a member of the AICPA, the MSCPA, and the ASWA. Janet joined the firm in October 1996 and has over twenty one years total experience in public accounting.

Wendy graduated from Washington University in 1981 with a Bachelor's of Science in Biology, completed accounting classes at University of Missouri-St. Louis (UMSL). Wendy provides individual, fiduciary and business tax preparation and review services. She is a member of the AICPA, the MSCPA, and the ASWA. Wendy joined the firm in January 2007 and has over eight years public accounting experience.

Alex graduated with a Bachelor's of Science in Accounting in 2006 and received a MBA in 2009, both from Maryville University. He provides services in the areas of individual, business, not-for-profit and fiduciary tax returns, audits, and agreed-upon procedure engagements. Alex is a member of the AICPA and the MSCPA. He has been with the firm since May 2006 and has over five years public accounting experience.

David graduated with a Bachelor's of Science in Accounting in 2007 and received a MBA in 2009, both from Maryville University. David provides services in the areas of tax preparation, reviews, audits, and agreed-upon procedure engagements. He is a member of the AICPA, and the MSCPA. He has been with the firm since December 2006, and has over three years public accounting experience. David is currently participating in Leadership Clayton through which he is interacting with key leaders in government, business and other civic organizations. Also as part of the current year class, he is developing a project that will benefit the entire community.

Donna graduated from the University of Missouri-St. Louis in 1979, with a BSBA in Accounting and received a MBA from Washington University in 1990. Donna provides services in the areas of individual tax preparation, audit, and agreed upon procedure engagements. She is a member of the AICPA, the MSCPA, and the ASWA. Donna joined the firm in February 2009, and has over sixteen years of public accounting and corporate accounting experience.

Renee attended St. Louis Community College and studied accounting. She performs individual and business tax preparation and reviews, financial report preparation, general ledger services and Quickbooks consulting. She also has experience in the payroll area and manages the administrative area of the firm. Renee started working in April 1994 as the Office Manager and has worked her way up to her current position as an Accountant/Operations Manager.

Tatjana (TJ) received Associate in Applied Science in Accounting from St. Louis Community College in 2006 and Bachelor of Science in Accounting from University of Missouri - St. Louis in 2011. Tatjana provides services in the areas of individual and business tax preparation and planning, audits and reviews. Tatjana joined the firm in January 2010.

Becky works as our Office Manager. She manages office staff while performing various administrative tasks, assists clients, accounts receivable collections and computer software maintenance. Becky has worked for our firm in prior years and returned in June 2005.

Natasha works as an Office Assistant. She assists clients with questions, schedules appointments, and assembles tax returns and financial statements. She also prepares the firm's billing, payroll, and accounts payable and assists in various special projects. Natasha has been with the firm since January 2005.

Heather joined our firm in October 2007 after spending 9 years in the U.S. Navy as an aviation weather forecaster. She works as a bookkeeper and handles the firm's payroll tax compliance and reporting, and accounting services. She is currently attending McKendree University to obtain her Bachelor’s of Business Administration in Accounting.

Steve works as an Office Assistant. He assists others around the office when needed and is currently helping in assembling tax returns and financial statements. He's also involved with preparing the firm's billing, payroll, and accounts payable and assists in various special projects. Steve has been with the firm since December 2008.
